Funny Mummies present Jenny Wynter’s fully improvised one woman cabaret show. Never even close to the same show twice, it is filled with musical comedy, driven entirely by the suggestions of the audience.
The leading character and her life story are spontaneously constructed over the course of the show, with every twist and turn woven together from audience suggestion cards as they are drawn from the pile.
This show has been presented in venues large and small since its launch in 2019 including the Butterfly Club, Melbourne; Woodford Folk Festival and The Woodford Children’s Festival; the Cygnet Folk Festival, Tasmania; the Anywhere Theatre Festival, Brisbane; and aboard P&O cruise ships.
This spectacular show can be tailored to your community, event or theme, making each show not only unique and spontaneous, but also closely tied to your requirements. The show has previously been adapted into an all-ages, child-centric show, an up-late adults-only cabaret and an ecological themed family-friendly event under a festival marquee.
“By Request” will be extensively touring in Queensland in 2023 as part of the Queensland Morning Melodies series of shows.
